- Updates are usually purchased each year to keep in synch with the Accountant.
- It is usually necessary for training and updating from time to time (depending on the complexity).
- Time has to be set aside to enter the data and make sure it is correct.
- The information then has to b e sent or delivered to the Accountant for checking and preparation of BAS…..and there is a definite time for it to be ready (usually 28 days after the end of the month).
- The Accountant then has to lodge the BAS by the due date and advise you how much to pay.
- If you enter something incorrectly, and it is not picked up, you can get penalised by the ATO.
